so I saw Wicked a little over a week ago. 6th row, center. needless to say, it was magical. i was incredibly impressed that i caught myself smiling the whole time. the costumes are so intricate, colorful, and just striking.

don't you want to wish we could just sing our feelings out whenever we want to? then again, it might turn out to be more of a "bad audition" episode of American Idol more than Glee.

Nikon test

first day at work was AWE.SOME. love the office. love the work. love the coworkers and atmosphere.

and when i got home, this was the view outside the patio. a little glimmer of sunshine penetrating the clouds. and icing on top of the cake --> Spice World is on Netflix.

i'm so grateful for all the blessings, really.

Photoshop experiment

My sister is already complaining that there are far too many faces of mine on the internets. Well, too bad for her. I'm currently experimenting and learning a few tricks from my Adobe Photoshop CS5.1. Already did a few corporate logos last night and I'm quite happy with the results.

I LOVE Photoshop. Especially when you have a lot of ideas that seem so impossible to put on the screen, Photoshop seems to have the solution to make it happen.

dedicated to my good friends, Ron and Monette of Fliptravels.com.

i walked in the house, tipsy at 1:30 am, opened my inbox and read Monette requesting a Fliptravels-themed illustration. and since i'm someone with OC-esque tendencies... i really can't wait til tomorrow so i whipped out something for them.

it's been a year since i came back from my month-long trip to the Philippines and i really miss it... so here's to the hottest backpackers i know....
